Does your bicycle need repair? We got you covered!
We service all makes and models, new or old. Road, track, mountain, cross, hybrid, comfort, tandem, cruiser,
3-speed, and coaster brake bikes. BMX and kids bikes too. We service what others won't.
Flats to overhauls - and everything in between. All component adjustments and repairs. Parts and accessories
installations. Convert your old 10-speed into a single speed fixed gear or
freewheel? Not a problem. Got a flat? We'll get you back on the road for $15 (new tube, labor and tax included). We also box bikes for shipment.
Professional repairs across the board. And we understand that money is tight, so we always try to repair existing
components or systems and will only recommend parts replacement when necessary for your safety or the long
term health of your bike.
Free Estimates. Just bring your bike in and we'll give it the once over and give you a estimate
on the spot. When your repair is done, we'll give it a test ride then give you a call.
Bike Laws:
Some Chicago bike laws are well known, but some are new to a lot of people. Due to the anticipated increase
in the number of cyclists on the roads resulting in part from the increase in gas prices, police are being
urged to step up the enforcement of the laws pertaining to cyclists as well as motorists.
Some of the laws are obvious and have been around for a long time such as stopping at stop signs or traffic lights, yielding to pedestrians on crosswalks, using hand signals when turning and basically observing the laws that govern motorists.
Some aren't as obvious such as - When riding at night, you must have a headlamp on the front of your bike that emits a white light visible from a distance of at least 500 feet and a red reflector on the rear of your bike. (we recommend a red flashing taillight). Municipal code 9-52-080. Here's a list of laws you can check out... Chicago Bike Laws
